Junior Security Automation Analyst [Romania]


 

Security Automation Analyst is responsible for automation and integration work for our Chief Security Office (CSO). Assists in developing and delivering digital workers to automate processing of security incidents at the bank, reducing time to respond and recover from cyber incidents for the operations teams workforce.

Security Automation analyst will be also included in the activities related to Security Architecture team to enrich overall understanding of SMR and the role for automation in the security program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for deploying, maintaining, and documenting SOAR platform (security orchestration and automation response)
  • Supports and oversees all the engineering activities to include change management, platform performance and stability, and initial data ingest and normalization. Primarily looking for areas to improve by use of automation and process workflows.
  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to the engineers and product managers of SOAR as you operationalize the innovative security automation tool into security operations.
  • Assist with the design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of playbooks and custom automation products as threats change and new security tools and controls emerge.
  • Develop integrations with 3rd party services and APIs.
  • Partner with other development and business teams to manage dependencies and communicate technical specifications.

Qualifications

  • University Diploma in Computer Science and any relevant cyber security courses and trainings
  • Knowledge of Python scripting language
  • Ability to collaborate with numerous teams and internal customers
  • Development of Build/Run processes to ensure systems are properly maintained and operating effectively
  • Highly disciplined and motivated: a self-starter who is able to both work independently and as a member of the team
  • Demonstrates a Can-Do, delivery-focused and solution-oriented approach (rather than problem-oriented); Flexible, practical, and positive mindset. Is quick to adapt to changing situations.
  • Demonstrates ownership and proactiveness in seeking to improve and optimize in anything related to their and their team’s work.
